I genuinely love my career. With obstetrics, I get to care for a pregnant patient from conception to postpartum, advising her along the way and helping her achieve the optimal outcome, a healthy mom and baby. Being present for a couple’s “best day of their lives” daily isn’t something that ever gets old. In gynecology, I love the variety that I see in the office daily. I can help an adolescent with difficult menses in one room, a postmenopausal woman dealing with hormonal issues in the next, and then a routine preventative exam in the next. In the operating room, I’m able to perform surgeries that give patients better quality of life or relieve pain.
I’ve been practicing general gynecology and obstetrics in Fairhope since 2009. At Fairhope Gynecology and Obstetrics, I’ve found a group of partners that practice evidence based medicine and who generally care for their patients. We have a great staff that treats each other like family and always strives to put the patient first.
When not working, I enjoy golfing with my husband and son Ace, yoga, and reading. I love living in Fairhope and being able to see the babies that I’ve delivered grow up.
